These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Otto — ADHD Focus Coach application (“the App”) and related services published by Bulpara Inc (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

What Otto Is

Otto is an AI-powered focus companion for iOS. Features include timed focus sessions, intention tracking, gentle AI check-ins from a character named Otto, an optional voice companion mode, ambient sound, scheduled sessions with notifications, and a private session log.

What Otto Is Not

You understand and agree that:

• Otto is not a medical device, therapy service, or clinical treatment.
• Otto does not diagnose, treat, or manage ADHD or any other condition.
• Otto's check-in messages and voice replies are AI-generated and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or off-tone.
• For mental-health support or clinical care, you should consult a licensed professional.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use Otto to harass, defraud, or harm any person.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the App or its outputs at scale.
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or free-tier limits.
• Use the App in a manner that violates applicable law.

Subscriptions & Billing

• Free tier: Daily focus sessions, silent presence mode, all session lengths (25/50/90 min), and the last 7 days of your log.
• Otto Premium Monthly: $6.99/month. Unlocks unlimited sessions, all coach modes (gentle check-ins and voice companion), full session history, schedule + reminders, and (when released) mascot variants.
• Otto Premium Annual: $59/year — includes a 7-day free trial for eligible users.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You may cancel at any time via your Apple ID settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Your Content

You retain all rights to your intentions, journal entries, and voice content. You grant Bulpara Inc a limited license to process your content solely to provide the App's features (e.g. generate Otto's check-ins, transcribe your voice, save your log). We do not use your content to train AI models unless you explicitly opt in via “Help improve Otto” in profile settings.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and the Otto character, is owned by Bulpara Inc and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, HELPFUL, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Decisions made based on Otto's check-in messages or voice replies.
• Inaccurate, incomplete, or off-tone AI-generated content.
• Service interruptions, sync delays, or data loss.
• Reliance on Otto for productivity, focus, or mental-health outcomes.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulpara Inc from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
